be done in #8 beads (larger), and the outer loops could be done in fancy
beads, such as bugles, pearls, triangles, or 3-4 mm Czech glass beads. Margi
offers to teach a double spiral rope for those already familiar with the
basic spiral. Please sign up at the September 26 meeting. |

How to Finish Stocking Ornament |
Sandy Higgins will teach us her techniques for finishing the stocking
ornament that Nancy Horne taught in August – or a similar item. This will be
a demonstration program only – so no supplies are needed in order to follow
along. She will show the cutting of the lining and backing sections, and
will even bring her sewing machine to give some hints on the actual
stitching. Sandy will give us a refresher lesson on making twisted cord –
bring your twisting tool and a skein of floss or pearl cotton if you wish. |
