Stitching is my relaxation and escape from the rest of the world. And I
know in these times when we try to stretch our dollar and have so little
precious time it is important to take care of yourself and find your
relaxation time or place. Don’t forget to take care of yourself and charge
up your battery. The payoff is peace of mind. Then we can continue to give
to ourselves and others.
And we are not short of giving projects: the soldier kissing pillows and
the “train” themed ornaments for the Model Railroad Museum, along with
Christmas just around the corner. Mark your calendar our Holiday Party is
Sunday, December 6th at Marque’s home.
If you find you still have some giving left, we will be forming the
nominating committee during the September chapter meeting for 2010 board
positions. Muchas Manos only operates from the giving of others. Every board
member and committee chair volunteers by giving their time and commits to
create a wonderful stitching environment for us all.
Stitchers are sentimental souls with giving hearts. And it is with this
in mind that I ask each of you to remember what unites us, the love and joy
of our art form, STITCHING.
Happy Stitching,
Karen Krampe
